HOY VAMOS A VER EL SUPERLATIVO
HEMOS VISTO LAS DOS CLASES DE COMPARATIVO QUE HAY:
1.- My sister is as smart as me= as….as = tan …como
2.– My car is bigger than yours= al adjetivo se le pone -er y también aparece siempre than ( que significa » que») y ciertas reglas y excepciones que ya explicamos cuando expliqué ese tipo de comparativo.
Vale, pues hoy vamos a explicar EL SUPERLATIVO, primero lo voy a explicar en español para que lo entendáis mejor.
EL SUPERLATIVO : indica que algo es superior a…..» es lo más»…lo más grande, lo más bonito…lo más…de lo más…
Ejemplo en español: Mi coche es el más grande en el aeropuerto
Ejemplo en inglés: My car is the biggest at the airport
IMPORTANT!!!!!
-En el superlativo la palabra que aparece es THE ( el) lo mismo que en el comparativo la palabra que aparecía era than ( que).
-Si el adjetivo es corto solo se suma -est al adjetivo
My sister is the shortest in the class ( mi hermana es la más pequeña en la clase)
*the (siempre aparece en la frases de superlativo)
+Shortest (porque es adjetivo corto), ejemplo de adjetivo largo : beautiful
Los cortos se pronuncian con menos de dos golpes de voz, los largos con más de dos golpes de voz…además también salta a la vista la diferencia entre uno largo y uno corto en la escritura.
-Si el adjetivo es largo se suma The most + adjetivo
Mary is the most beautiful girl in the world
3.- Si el adjetivo tiene consonante+vocal+consonante, se dobla la última consonante
big= the biggest ( véis cómo se ha doblado la g)
– Si el adjetivo acaba en «Y» se cambiará por -iest
Ejemplo —–pretty—–the prettiest
She is the prettiest girl in the party ( ella es la chica más preciosa en la fiesta)

1.-Si es lago o corto
Si es largo se le suma al the ( que va siempre en TODAS las frases comparativas) most
The most interested ( el más interesante/interesado)
The most beautiful ( la más bonita/ el más bonito)
The most intelligent (el o la más inteligente)
y luego el resto de la frase
Philippe is the most intelligent in the class= Felipe es el más inteligente de la clase
2.-Si es corto, solo se le suma -est al adjetivo, claro siempre lleva el «the»
the shottest=el más bajo/corto
the biggest= el más grande
the cleanest=el más limpio
y luego el resto de la frase
Example=Susan is the shortest in the video
Susana es la más baja en el video
3.-Si el adjetivo tiene consonante +vocal+consonte , se dobla la última consonante
Example= fat……………….the fattest ( ha doblado la t)
4.-Excepciones: Hay adjetivos que al formar el superlativo cambia totalmente la palabra, pasaba también con el comparativo lo recordáis?
GOOD………………THE BEST ( el mejor, el más bueno..)
BAD………………….THE WORSE ( el peor, el más malo)
FAR………………..THE FARTHEST / THE FURTHEST ( el más lejano)

La tarea para hoy es la siguiente
Ahora que ya sabéis perfectamente el «as………………….as» y que la mayoría habéis hecho las frases de inglés a español bastante bien…
Vamos a trabajar hoy de español a inglés que es en lo que tenéis más problemas.
1.-WRITE FROM SPANISH TO ENGLISH ( me las mandáis durante esta semana)
– Esta casa es tan grande como la tuya= This house is as big as yours
-Mi coche es tan rápido como tu coche= My car is as fast as your car
-El autobús es tan pequeño como una nuez=
The bus is as small as a nut/walnut
-Las matemáticas son tan fáciles como el inglés=
Maths/ Math/ Mathematics is as easy as English
Aquí habéis tenido casi tod@s errores, matemáticas se puede escribir de esas tres formas, pero va con is porque es una sola asignatura, are es para plurales.
Además no lleva the, no lleva artículo, en inglés las asignaturas NO llevan artículo y se escriben con mayúscula aunque también se podría dar por buena con minúcula , menos English que ya sabéis que idiomas, nacionalidades y paises SIEMPRE con mayúscula !!
-Ese edificio es tan moderno como el colegio=

Yo estudio en una escuela grande de primaria. Cada día voy al colegio en autobus. Mi color favorito es el amarillo y mi deporte favorito el baloncesto.
2.-MISTAKES:
LITTLE: Se escribe con dos t, aparece en el primer texto con una sola t
STUDYING: El famoso studying , que todos os equivocais…bueno, casi todos, se escribe con y antes de i, porque el verbo es study, solo se le añade -ing.
SWIMMING: Se escribe con doble m, porque el verbo es SWIM, como podéis ver es consonante+vocal+consonante= se dobla la última consonante al hacer el gerundio , o el presente continuo y también porque natación se escribe así.
SWIM= nadar
SWIMMING= natación o nadando .
3.-ANSWERS (respuestas a las preguntas)
Ya sabéis que las preguntas se pueden contestar siempre de manera corta o larga, yo aconsejo la corta, es más fácil, pero pondré todas las opciones.
Por favor corregidlas detenidamente, es muy importante para mí que aprendáis a escribir bien en inglés.

1.- He is from Spain / Spain ( aquí prefiero Sujeto+verbo +complementos) pero ambas formas son correctas tb valdría fron Spain.

3.-Her favourite colour is purple ( Ann) and his favorite colour is yellow ( Peter)
Ann´s favourite colour is purble and Peter´s favourite colour is yellow
4.- Her birthday is on March 25/ on March 25

7.-Peter´s favourite sport is basketball / basketball
*Por favor nombres de paises, idiomas y nacionalidades en inglés SIEMPRE CON MAYÚSCULA!!!!!

3.-Ann has got a little sister and Peter has got a brother.

Por qué es GOES? porque es presente simple y en presente simple se le añade «s» al she he and it…y Ann es she, y Peter es he…ok?
6.-Ann studies in a primary school and Peter studies in a big primary school
Igual, es presente simple y al añadirle la «s» cambia la y por -ies, mirad las reglas que os expliqué…
boy=boys= si delante de la y hay una vocal se pone solo la s
party=parties=si delante de la y es consonante, cambia la y por -ies
Igual pasa con los verbos.

Hoy yo voy a explicar los comparativos en los adjetivos,
(es decir cuando se comparan dos personas o dos objetos)
Espero que lo entendáis
Vamos a ello!!!!!!!!!
1ª Se compara dos personas o cosas con la fórmula as….as
As …as significa= tan …como ( el adjetivo va en medios de los dos «as»)
María is as tall as Carlos= María es tan alta como Carlos
This subjects is as difficult as Math= esta asignatura es tan dificil como las matemáticas.
My mother is as good as yours= mi madre es tan buena como la tuya
2ª Se forma el comparativo teniendo claro tres cosas:
1ª Than= significa «que», siempre aparece en las frases comparativas.
2ª Cuando el adjetivo es corto se suma -er al adjetivo
Example: cold…colder
This soup is colder than yours= Esta sopa está más fría que la tuya
Pero además si el adjetivo es consonante +vocal +consonante se escribe doble la última consonante.
Exemple
Example: big…bigger
I am bigger than my sister= yo soy más grande que mi hermana
3º Si el adjetivo es largo ( osea que tiene más de una sílaba) en vez de poner -er
se escribe more. El than siempre aparece, tanto si el adjetivo es corto o largo, porque significa «que»
Example: Interesting….. more interesting
This film is more interesting than the other one
Esta película es más interesante que la otra
*IMPORT = Si el adjetivo es corto y acaba en «y» se cambia por «i» y se le suma el -er
Example: noisy….noisier than ( más ruidoso que)
Luego hay excepciones que cambia toda la palabra, todo el adjetivo
Examples good…better
This team is better than that=Este equipo es más bueno que el otro
This team is worse than that= Este equipo es más malo que aquél
Mirad los ejemplos en el cuadro.
Olvidad el superlativo, que lo daremos más adelante. Solo comparativo

RECORDAD …ESTO ES MUY IMPORTNTE COPIADLO EN LAS LIBRETAS!!!!
1.- Siempre lleva THAN ( que significa «que») más grande que….
Menos cuando es el AS………AS ( que significa tan …como)
2.-Nos fijamos si el adjetivo es LARGO (expensive, por ejemplo) o CORTO (big, por ejemplo)
-Que es largo se pone MORE Ejemplo=This bag is more expensive than the other one
(Este bolso es más caro que el otro)
-Que el adjetivo es corto, pues solo se añade la -er
Ejemplo: This car is bigger than yours
( Este coche es más grande que el tuyo)
* ojito con las reglas..por qué se ha doblado la «g»? porque la palabra es consonante+vocal +consonante, entoces se dobla la última consonante…
Mirad y repasad las reglas que expliqué ayer.

Ahora lo más importante es aprender

PRESENT CONTINUOUS ( Presente continuo)
Está formado por el verbo TO BE + un verbo que acaba en ING ( ya sabéis que se traduce » -endo/ -ando)
Aquí tenemos el verbo TO BE ( ser /estar) que hay que saberlo como nuestro nombre y luego se le suma el verbo con la partícula -ING que va a indicarnos lo que se está haciendo en ese momento.
Normalmente aparece con los adverbios :
Now= ahora
At the moment= en este momento
I am writing now= Yo estoy escribiendo ahora
Aquí tenemos ejemplos:
FORMA AFIRMATIVA con el verbo JUGAR ( PLAY)
Ya sabemos que el presente se utiliza para acciones que hacemos regularmente y aparecen los adverbios always ( siempre), often ( a menudo), normally ( normalmente) , everyday ( cada día) porque nos indican hábitos y rutinas.
Con el PRESENTE CONTINUO lo que se indica es una acción que se está haciendo en ese momento.
I go to school everyday = Yo voy a la escuela todos los días ( PRESENT= presente)
I´m going to school at the moment=Yo estoy yendo a la escuela en este momento ( PRESENT CONTINUOUS = presente continuo)
FORMA EN NEGATIVA
Tenemos el verbo TO BE ( en todas sus formas) + NOT+ verbo que sea +ING
Ejemplo en forma sin contraer y en forma contraida
She is not eating now= She isn´t eating now
Ella no está comiendo ahora= ella no está comiendo ahora
FORMA INTERROGATIVA
Aquí tenemos cómo se realizan las preguntas en el PRESENTE CONTINUO y cómo se responden.
TO BE ( AM, Is or ARE) +SUJET+ el verbo que sea con ING
Are you swimming now?¿ Estás tú nadando ahora?
Yes, I am or No I´m not= sí si lo estoy o No, no lo estoy
